Engineering Manager, Machine Learning Platform

As an Engineering Manager at Monzo, you will be part of cross-functional, autonomous teams, contributing to technical and delivery outcomes. You will support and develop engineering talent and create an inclusive team environment. The Machine Learning Platform team is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools which empower our teams to train, evaluate, deploy, and serve Machine Learning models and features at scale. You’ll take accountability for delivery, foster engineering excellence, lead and grow a team of 5-7 engineers, partner with senior engineers to drive technical initiatives, and lead communication with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience as a software engineer and worked closely with ML Platforms, with comfort in ambiguous problem areas and delivery experience.
