Manager, AI Operations

Key Responsibilities:

• Own deployment support, monitoring, and day-to-day reliability of AI systems in production, including traditional ML, GenAI, and agentic AI.
• Lead incident response and root-cause troubleshooting for AI/ML services.
• Partner with MLOps, Cloud Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to build robust deployment pipelines.

Observability & Performance:

• Build and maintain drift detection, latency, uptime, accuracy decay, and agent action-level tracing.
• Define and track production health metrics, flagging performance degradation for remediation.
• Establish dashboards and alerting for real-time visibility into AI system health.

Security & Collaboration:

• Serve as the primary connection point between AI systems and Security, Infrastructure, and IT teams.
• Support AI Governance by instrumenting fairness, safety, and bias-monitoring metrics.
• Coordinate handoffs from the AI Build team into production with a defined production-readiness review.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and grow a small production support and observability team.
• Set priorities across support and monitoring workstreams and manage team capacity.
• Mentor team members and build a strong operational and on-call culture.
