Intake Therapist

Role Summary:

• You will conduct in-depth biopsychosocial assessments to understand each client's unique needs and guide them to the right level of care.
• You will be the first point of contact, creating a welcoming and supportive introduction to our services and facilitating seamless transitions into treatment.

Responsibilities:

• Determine the most appropriate level of care for each client, ensuring alignment with clinical needs and treatment goals.
• Clearly communicate program expectations, treatment options, and next steps to clients and their families.
• Identify barriers to treatment engagement and collaborate with the clinical team to support individualized care planning.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field, with independent licensure in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent).
• Experience in behavioral therapy and counseling, with strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses and provide clinical supervision to associate-level clinicians when applicable.
