Key Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative and scientific support for the Infectious Diseases program, focusing on vaccine preventable diseases.
- Facilitates activities for national conferences, training courses, and meetings, including logistics and promotional materials.
- Develops and disseminates information through program website updates, weekly E-Update, and other communication avenues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, public administration, life science, or related field, plus three years of related work experience.
- Knowledge of public health role in detection and control of infectious diseases, and familiarity with membership-based organizations or health departments.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills, with attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Work Environment:
- This is a remote position based in the US, with occasional travel (1-3 domestic trips per year).
- The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with changing priorities.
- The work environment is typical of an office setting, with extended periods of sitting and computer use.
