Responsibilities:
- Greet patients, family members and other customers in a courteous and welcoming manner.
- Provide information to promote patient understanding of procedures and expectations.
- Exchange information in a friendly, kind manner.
Requirements:
- Possess exceptional people skills.
- Exercise a high degree of control over confidential medical information.
- Keep offices and work area orderly and properly stocked.
Communication:
- Access department communications daily utilizing telephone voice mail and/ or e-mail.
- Make immediate requested changes to current information collection procedures.
- Act as a preceptor for new hires to provide education.
