Responsibilities:
- Oversee business activities for assigned key accounts in the pet trade class, coordinating sales distribution through strategic customer accounts.
- Establish promotional programs and sales goals, providing general oversight for national and regional accounts, distributors, and e-commerce.
- Work with key pet customers such as Chewy, pet distributors, independents, and retail stores nationwide to drive brand growth.
Strategy and Analysis:
- Assist in creating short and long-term sales strategies and delivering annual sales targets for the pet channel.
- Provide data-driven analysis to ensure sales initiatives are correctly executed and perform to expectations, tracking trade spend ROI.
- Understand monthly forecasting from Gross to Net and maintain promotional budgets to support business objectives.
Communication and Representation:
- Develop and manage relationships through in-person meetings and regular communication with accounts.
- Represent the company at trade shows, association meetings, and other key account venues to promote the brand.
- Provide monthly and quarterly updates to the retail sales and management team, participating in webinars and sales meetings as needed.
