Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary health informatics liaison among business owners, software developers, EBQI sites, and VA stakeholders to ensure women's health care requirements are captured and implemented.
  • Apply clinical expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, and women's health to inform the design and deployment of VA health information technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with VA IT teams to analyze clinical data quality and electronic health record functionalities relevant to women Veterans' care.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in health informatics and 10+ years of clinical experience in obstetrics/gynecology or women's health.
  • MD or DO degree required, supplemented by an informatics certification or advanced degree in Biomedical/Health Informatics.
  • Demonstrated experience with VA health IT systems and ability to obtain VA PIV credentials.
