Job Description
Support the production and strategic development of CriticalProductive Journal, a peer-reviewed academic journal that explores design, cultural theory, architecture, and community engagement through essays, visual art, and multimedia. This position will play a pivotal role in guiding the Journalβs editorial and production workflow. Working directly with the Faculty Editor, Editorial Collective, contributors, and external partners, youβll manage the editorial review and revision process, coordinate issue development, support digital and print production, and liaise with MIT Press and other vendors.
This position requires impeccable organizational skills, high editorial standards, and the ability to engage effectively with a diverse and dynamic group of stakeholders. You will be the linchpin of a publication process that involves academics, artists, designers, editors, reviewers, publishers, and the public.
