Job Summary:
- Post payments from patients and third-party payers.
- Handle finance-related tasks including lockbox files and data entry.
- Evaluate and verify Explanation of Benefit statements.
Responsibilities:
- Post payments, adjust accounts, and process incoming payments.
- Verify write-offs, scan documents, and confirm refunds.
- Identify payer issues and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Payment Posting Specialist in a hospital or medical office.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with payer vendor websites.
- Self-starter capable of working independently at home, with attention to detail and HIPAA compliance.
