Field Engineer III

Strategic System Optimization & Engineering Leadership:

• Partner across the engineering team to ensure K-LOVE's programming is broadcast successfully.
• Drive a culture of excellence by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Focus on IP-based, modern microwave, and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite solutions.

Troubleshooting & Mentorship:

• Serve as a primary expert in diagnosing and resolving complex technical faults on equipment and systems.
• Partner and communicate with engineers to accomplish critical objectives.
• Serve as a dedicated mentor and escalation point for more junior Broadcast Engineers.

Advanced Compliance & Safety Stewardship:

• Maintain an expert-level understanding of FCC rules and regulations, ensuring all equipment and operations are compliant.
• Actively champion K-LOVE's Injury Prevention and Safety program, ensuring strict adherence to safety standards.
• Serve as a Chief Operator/Engineer for assigned broadcast station(s), meticulously fulfilling all regulatory responsibilities.
