Senior Security Analyst

About the Role:

• Serve as Monzo's front door to security, providing exposure to a wide mix of information security work.
• Collaborate with security specialists, engineers, and product teams to solve interesting problems and manage security risk.
• Make a notable impact in an environment where security is both a priority and an opportunity for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver third-party security assurance: assess suppliers, review questionnaires and evidence, and manage risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead security assurance activities: control testing, PCI DSS assessments, regulatory reviews, and audits, from evaluation to remediation.
• Strengthen governance: improve policies, procedures, and controls to be practical and reflect real-world operations.
• Support the Security Front Door: respond to security questions, bring in specialists, and enhance the team's experience.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong security fundamentals and technical curiosity, with experience in third-party or supplier security assurance.
• Ability to evaluate security evidence, identify gaps, and translate technical findings into proportionate recommendations.
• Proactive and collaborative, with clear communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated environments and familiarity with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, SOC 2, or NIST is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Salary: £57,000 - £70,000 plus incentive awards tied to performance.
