Product Engineer (Junior), Java / Kotlin

Company Description:

• Builds Gluesync: real-time CDC and hybrid data integration across RDBMS, NoSQL, data lakes, and event streaming.
• We are a product company, not a consultancy.
• Offices in Cupertino, CA and an R&D center in Pordenone, Italy.

Job Description:

• You will ship well-scoped Gluesync work with the product team through pairing and review.
• You will own small pieces end to end: code, tests, review.
• You will work with SQL and NoSQL sources (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM i / DB2, MongoDB, Kafka, and similar).

Qualifications:

• Must have: Java experience in a job or shipped project, some Kotlin knowledge, REST, SQL, Git, and ability to work CET nights.
• Nice to have: Ktor, Koin, Gradle, Docker, NoSQL, Kafka.

Additional Information:

• Remote from any country with a MacBook Pro.
• Performance bonus and partner training (AWS, MongoDB, and similar).
• Compensation from 30k€.
