- Proper’s accounting department provides property management accounting services to all customers.
- They perform everyday accounting functions like payables and receivables.
- Monthly processes flow into final financial statements for end-users.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure correct processing of bank reconciliations with triple tie-outs.
- Process management fees, owner distributions, and financial statements.
- Complete move-in and move-out processes.
Communication:
- Interface with Senior Accountant and GAs to communicate processing needs.
- Escalate accounting questions and blockers to Senior Accountant.
- Assist Senior Accountant in coaching AP Specialists and Data Entry personnel.
