Your Role:

  • Lead Alpaca’s Corporate Actions organization across mandatory and voluntary events, including dividends, splits, mergers, and more.
  • Establish and own the supervisory framework with maker-checker standards, control gates, and escalation thresholds.
  • Partner with Security Master, Trading, Ledger, Product, Engineering, and Operations to eliminate failure modes.

Supervisory Controls & Systems Oversight:

  • Design controls over event terms, eligible positions, and entitlements to ensure accuracy before market deadlines.
  • Oversee booking of entitlements and ensure propagation across Back Office, Front Office, and customer positions.
  • Define approval thresholds, supervisory evidence, and management reporting for all events.

Qualifications (Must-Haves):

  • 8+ years of Corporate Actions experience within a broker-dealer or financial institution.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. and international market infrastructure, including DTCC/DTC processes.
  • Strong incident-management discipline and ability to partner with Product and Engineering for scalable solutions.
