Senior Accountant

This role is essential to ensuring accurate financial data at both the loan and enterprise levels, maintaining strong internal controls, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in loan accounting as well as corporate accounting processes such as general ledger management, expense accruals, and financial reporting. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is eager to take ownership of key accounting responsibilities across the organization. Performing daily and monthly accounting for loan activity, including originations, payments, interest accruals, servicing fees, charge-offs, and loan sales; executing accurate and timely month-end close processes, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and financial reporting; maintaining and reconciling loan sub-ledgers and ensure alignment with general ledger and financial statements, are some of the responsibilities of this role.
