Senior Project Manager, PMO

The Senior Project Manager (SPM) follows the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America (BBBSA) by supporting the Senior Director to ensure smooth progress in bringing BBBSA’s organizational projects to life. The SPM manages a portfolio of medium to large-scale projects aligned with BBBSA’s goals and strategic priorities, including implementing existing processes for system-level projects. The SPM focuses on cross-functional coordination to reinforce decision-making, monitor budgets, and track resources in conjunction with finance and department leads to ensure project success. The SPM facilitates, coordinates, and manages a portfolio of existing and new projects which may include developing, controlling, and directing simultaneous multiple projects. They will draft reports to BBBSA’s senior leadership and model collaborative leadership for management of projects to achieve organizational goals and strategic clarity. The SPM will co-manage cross-functional teams within BBBSA to complete assigned portfolio of projects. The SPM aids in identifying issues, and offering solutions where appropriate.
