Responsibilities:
- Drive the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in accordance with US GAAP, including managing accruals, AR, and sales commission calculations.
- Support Celcuity’s employee stock purchase plan, including contributions, purchases, and related journal entries.
- Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust internal control procedures for SOX 404(b) readiness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, CPA preferred, with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience including supervisory role.
- Prior experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience in a SOX-compliant environment and with stock-based compensation accounting.
