Senior Developer Advocacy Engineer

The Opportunity:

• Build an open-source, in-product learning experience inside Grafana.
• Ship real product code that directly impacts both Grafana Cloud and Grafana OSS.
• Build a platform where anyone can contribute high-quality learning content.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Improve the end-to-end learner experience—from onboarding to completion.
• Support private guides and experiences and make completion tracking meaningful.
• Instrument learning flows so we can understand what’s working and where learners get stuck.

AI-Driven Development:

• Work with tools like Claude Code or Cursor in an agent-based workflow.
• Apply strong engineering judgment—scoping, iterating, verifying, and testing—so speed doesn’t compromise quality.
• Use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow, backed by a company-funded usage budget.

On-Call Rotation:

• This role includes participation in an on-call rotation as part of our DevOps culture.
• Those who build the software also help run and support it in production.
