As a Senior Software Engineer, you will build and maintain Honeycomb SDKs across multiple platforms, collaborating with the OpenTelemetry community and internal product teams. Define and evolve SDK architecture and API design with a focus on usability and long-term maintainability. You will partner with internal teams to ensure instrumentation is reliable, efficient, and easy to integrate.

Build open-source libraries and integrations with OpenTelemetry. You will work on new and existing tools that generate telemetry data, including Honeycomb libraries and other open-source projects. You will help ensure the ongoing success of the broader observability ecosystem. Create a good developer experience by innovating and improving tooling across the ecosystem to reduce the burden placed on end users.
As part of the Spaces team, you will help us scale Upbound to reliably support thousands of control planes, while also extending enterprise control plane management and operations both in the cloud and on premises. You will actively build and operate Upbound Spaces in production, troubleshooting and resolving issues across multi-tenant SaaS environments, as well as contributing to Upbound's open-source projects, including Crossplane.
