Senior Platform Manager, Data Products, Finance Accounting

The Community You Will Join:

• Work within Airbnb's Business Technology (Biztech) organization, at the heart of scaling internal operations.
• Partner daily with Product Managers across Payments, Trust, Guest & Host, and Finance stakeholders from Revenue Controllership, Treasury, Tax, and more.

• Define and drive the long-term roadmap for the finance accounting platform to support new product lines and business models.
• Lead end-to-end accounting impact assessments and solution designs for every product launch or evolution.
• Strengthen the financial foundation by improving data pipeline monitoring, automating workflows, and supporting month-end close.

A Typical Day:

• Sync with cross-functional Product Managers to assess accounting implications of upcoming product changes.
• Review technical specs with Data Engineering and run UAT sessions with Finance stakeholders.
• Triaging platform requests, analyzing data with SQL, and leading working sessions to automate manual processes.

Your Expertise:

• Deep subject matter expertise in accounting principles and ASC 606, with hands-on experience implementing end-to-end accounting workflows.
• Strong technical skills including SQL, big data principles, and familiarity with Oracle FAH or equivalent ERP platforms.
• 6+ years of platform or product management experience with a finance and accounting data focus, and excellent communication skills.
