Accounting Operations:
- Lead and manage all daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Oversee full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring accurate cash flow management.
- Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes; setting timelines and performing key closing tasks as needed.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of financial statements and key management reports.
- Partner with Client Success and Operations to define and document revenue recognition practices.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and tax advisors, coordinating activities and providing documentation.
Process Improvement & Team Leadership:
- Develop, refine, and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and financial procedures.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability.
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes.
