About the Role:
- Play a key role in the hockey department, writing and reporting on stories across the league’s 32 teams.
- Be embedded within the NHL department’s News, Enterprise and Trending team.
- Help shape our most informative hockey coverage while also helping to advance our goal to be the top destination for sports news around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Write NHL breaking news stories.
- Pitch, report, write and fact-check hockey stories.
- Edit and publish hockey stories.
Requirements:
- Undergraduate students who are ideally in their junior year, senior year, or a recent graduate.
- Ability to work a 30–40 hour work week, including nights and weekends.
- A journalism background and an understanding of how newsrooms operate.
