About the Role:

  • Play a key role in the hockey department, writing and reporting on stories across the league’s 32 teams.
  • Be embedded within the NHL department’s News, Enterprise and Trending team.
  • Help shape our most informative hockey coverage while also helping to advance our goal to be the top destination for sports news around the world.

Responsibilities:

  • Write NHL breaking news stories.
  • Pitch, report, write and fact-check hockey stories.
  • Edit and publish hockey stories.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate students who are ideally in their junior year, senior year, or a recent graduate.
  • Ability to work a 30–40 hour work week, including nights and weekends.
  • A journalism background and an understanding of how newsrooms operate.
