Assistant Director Enterprise Coding

Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing coding policies, audit controls, and performance benchmarks across all coding units, while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness of coding and charge capture processes. Collaborate with Provider Education, Coding Education team, senior leaders, compliance, and clinical stakeholders to drive innovation in coding workflows, documentation improvement, and system and tool optimization. Lead or support technology enhancements (e.g., encoder tools, EHR updates). Ensures that all senior management, department directors, managers and employees are informed of significant policies and procedures, and the outcomes of actual operations. Represent the Enterprise Coding department in institutional committees, workgroups, and industry forums. Serve as liaison to legal, compliance, and revenue cycle operations. Conducts personnel hires, written performance evaluations.
