- Supervise daily workflow, assign priorities, and monitor deadlines for team members.
- Train, coach, and develop staff to strengthen technical and regulatory expertise.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and training.
Product Compliance & Quality Oversight:
- Review compliance work for accuracy and adherence to procedures.
- Serve as first-level escalation for routine compliance issues.
- Research and interpret statutes, regulations, and regulatory requirements.
Regulatory Filings & Department Coordination:
- Coordinate product filing activities from preparation through approval.
- Monitor regulatory correspondence and ensure documentation is complete.
- Support responses to Department of Insurance inquiries.
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Collaborate with Product Development, Claims, Legal, and Marketing.
- Provide clear compliance guidance and translate regulations into actionable practices.
- Build effective relationships to support timely product implementation.
