Requirements and Skills:
- Native Kannada fluency and professional English fluency.
- 3+ years of translation, proofreading, or copywriting experience for Kannada audiences.
- Experience localizing online, mobile, or game products is required.
Additional Qualifications:
- Ability to evaluate and provide feedback on text-to-speech audio quality.
- Experience reviewing and refining Large Language Model outputs is preferred.
- Must have a portfolio and a strong interest in Duolingo's mission.
- Ability to work 25-30 hours per week on a contract basis.
