Financial Operations Principal

This is an opportunity to join a Fintech startup at an exciting time and become one of the influencers in the company. The FinOp is a key role in the finance team and is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial and operational compliance with the SEC’s Net Capital Rule (Rule 15c3-1) and Customer Protection Rule (Rule 15c3-3). The Accounting & Finance team is 100% distributed and remote, and this role reports directly to the CFO. Responsibilities include financial oversight and reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and internal controls and risk management. The FinOp will also oversee clearing and settlement processes, coordinate audits, and advise management on capital adequacy and financing strategies.
