As a Senior Value Engineer at dbt Labs, you’ll be at the center of driving measurable customer success — shaping how organizations realize, expand, and sustain value through dbt. You’ll partner with our most strategic customers and internal executive stakeholders to accelerate adoption, strengthen renewals, and fuel account growth. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to both our customers and the dbt Labs Executive Team, helping connect business outcomes to product capabilities and ensuring every engagement delivers clear, quantifiable impact.
You’ll combine strategic thinking, deep analytical skills, and business process expertise to define and scale a best-in-class value engineering practice. You will collaborate with sales leaders, engage with prospects to quantify challenges, define the dbt Labs value proposition, lead business value reviews, analyze customer workflows, and deliver executive presentations. The role involves building scalable programs, tools for value selling, and contributing to the development of best practices. You will also provide guidance on maximizing the value of dbt Labs solutions and conduct training workshops to enhance understanding of business value and customer excellence.
