Medical Science Liaison - Rare Disease - Los Angeles, CA

Overview:

• Bridge internal strategy with external medical insights through field interactions with the healthcare community.
• Support disease awareness and scientific exchange within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:

• Develop enduring professional relationships with healthcare practitioners and key opinion leaders.
• Gather insights on unmet medical needs and treatment landscapes; attend and support scientific meetings.
• Provide truthful, non-promotional medical information and support clinical trials as needed.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in life sciences (MD, DO, PharmD, PhD) or NP/PA licensure with clinical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of professional experience; Medical Affairs experience in pharma or biotech required.
• Rare disease experience preferred; knowledge of GCP, FDA, and ethical guidelines required.

Additional Information:

• Base salary range of $175,000 - $220,000, plus comprehensive benefits and potential bonus.
• Field-based role requiring 75% travel from a home office, with occasional weekend events.
