Job Description

The Modern Workplace Administrator will report to Manager Enterprise Applications. The Modern Workplace Administrator provides support and administration across Microsoft 365 and SNHU-managed endpoints. You will focus on daily operational tasks such as basic system configuration, device management, and software deployments using tools like Microsoft Intune, MECM, and JAMF. The Administrator responds to service requests, troubleshoots end-user issues, and ensures digital experience across services within the Microsoft Modern Workplace environment.

Customer service, attention to detail, and a collaborative attitude are important in this entry-level role. You will work remotely from any of our approved states.

Maintain, configure, and manage SNHU-issued Windows/macOS devices using Intune and JAMF. Help with software packaging, deployments, and updates using MECM or Microsoft Endpoint Manager. Support end-user questions and troubleshoot basic issues related to Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Microsoft Intune/MECM. Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and ticketing notes in ServiceNow. Follow established processes for patching, compliance, and endpoint security requirements. Escalate unresolved technical issues to senior staff while providing context and supporting details. Maintain a helpful, professional, and service-oriented approach when working with colleagues and end-users. Participate in routine audits, asset tracking, and system clean-up tasks.
