Overview:

• We are looking for translators with experience in translating patents from English into Portuguese (Brazil) with native-level fluency.
• The ideal candidate will have strong experience in patent translation and proofreading in Computer Science and Electricity.

Responsibilities:

• Translate patent-related content from English into Portuguese (Brazil) with original meaning conveyed accurately.
• Identify and correct linguistic errors, ensuring consistency in terminology and style.
• Manage weekly capacity of +5,000 words and ensure timely task completion.

Requirements:

• BS/BA in linguistics, translation, or related fields with 2+ years of patent or technical translation experience.
• Deep understanding of technical terminology and ability to adapt complex scientific language.
• Proficiency in using CAT tools like XTM for project management and quality assessment.
