Responsibilities:

  • Support and provide implementation of vape/e-cigarette prevention trainings for youth, parents, and teachers.
  • Plan, organize, present, promote, and supervise special events or outreach activities.
  • Modify and support development of prevention events.

Qualifications:

  • Two years of related experience; OR an associate degree; OR a current bachelor's degree student in social work, psychology, public health, education, project management, or a related field
  • Experience in recruiting, supervising, and working with youth
  • Demonstrated ability to gather, interpret, and integrate evaluation data

ADA Work Environment:

  • Work is performed in a variety of settings, including USU Extension offices, K–12 schools, and community locations.
  • The position requires regular in-county and regional travel to deliver educational programs, attend meetings, and support coalition and outreach efforts.
  • Work schedules may vary and will include occasional evenings and weekends to meet program and community needs.
