Senior Frontend Engineer - Canva Code (Open to remote across ANZ)

Canva Code is on a mission to unlock a new creative superpower inside Canva—empowering anyone to design and build interactive experiences, powered by conversational AI. From dynamic web apps to interactive elements that seamlessly integrate into designs, we’re pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in a visual design platform. As part of Canva Code, you’ll join the team working on cutting-edge features at the intersection of design, interactivity, and artificial intelligence. As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll help shape the frontend architecture of the core product as we continue to scale and integrate more closely with the Canva Editor. There’s scope to get involved in the full-stack from backend to prompt engineering. Design, develop and deploy solutions and hands-on software development to ship features that make code creation accessible to everyone. Leverage technologies like LLMs, MCPs, and internal AI platforms to deliver magical experiences. Primarily working on web frontend with Typescript, but plenty of opportunity for those interested in working across the full-stack.
