About the Role:
- Correlation One is seeking an experienced Actuarial Consultant.
- The consulting project translates a real-world actuarial scenario into a simplified dataset and evaluation framework.
- The work will directly support efforts to engage emerging actuarial talent while showcasing responsible use of GenAI.
Scope of Work & Responsibilities:
- Design and generate a synthetic actuarial dataset suitable for a student competition.
- Produce supporting documentation, including a data dictionary and scenario descriptions.
- Incorporate feedback from Correlation One and Pacific Life stakeholders efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Background in actuarial science, insurance, or closely related analytical work.
- Comfort working in Excel; familiarity with Python or R is a plus but not required.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to explain actuarial concepts at an undergraduate level.
