Senior Systems Administrator

Overview:

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to ensure the secure, stable, and reliable operation of enterprise systems.
• Responsible for planning, engineering, installing, configuring, operating, maintaining, and optimizing on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and continuity of operations in compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and RMF requirements.

Work Scope:

• Improve system administrator efficiency and accuracy using automated tools and scripts.
• Develop system administration procedures and deliver system administrator training and skills assessments.
• Lead and direct the work of system administrators, ensuring effective day-to-day system administration, resource optimization, and user support.

Experience:

• Three years hands-on experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) IT hosting solutions.
• Ten years of specialized experience in Information Processing, with a focus across multiple specialized Information Processing disciplines.
• Extensive experience with commercial cloud hosting platforms, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
