Responsibilities:
- Assist with updating recurring financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Support variance analysis by gathering data and summarizing drivers.
- Participate in preparing monthly review materials for finance leadership.
Modeling and Analysis:
- Update components of financial models such as forecasting templates.
- Run simple scenario and sensitivity analyses under analyst guidance.
- Help maintain documentation for team financial tools.
Business Support:
- Work with analysts to gather information from Sales, Operations, and Accounting teams.
- Assist in preparing materials for business reviews and planning discussions.
- Shadow meetings to gain exposure to real-time financial decision-making.
Process and Data:
- Help maintain data accuracy by validating inputs and identifying discrepancies.
- Support small process-improvement initiatives, including automation or template updates.
- Perform ad hoc analysis and research as assigned.
