Job Description
Wealthfront is looking for a junior FP&A Analyst, who will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance. This is an excellent opportunity for a collaborative individual who is eager to learn and grow. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills when managing competing priorities and adeptly handle both familiar and unfamiliar tasks. They will also be proficient in analyzing and preparing data for internal and external stakeholders. They will also be passionate about the industry and possess a team player mentality to support their own professional development as well as the teamβs ultimate goals.
Key responsibilities include managing the monthly close, assisting with the review of financial statements, preparing variance analysis reports and forecasts, and improving operating and financial models. The analyst will also support the production of financial presentations and implement new operational processes.
Skills and experience Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or Economics related field. 2-4 years of experience in an FP&A role. Excellent analytical skills and a strong proficiency in financial modeling and enterprise accounting software (e.g., Netsuite). Database experience (e.g., SQL) a plus. The right candidate should be a self-starter who regularly takes initiative and can juggle multiple projects simultaneously to meet timelines.
