Staff Software Engineer, Client Architecture

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect for Scale: Define and execute org-wide client architecture strategy for seamless video creation and editing.
• Accelerate Product Roadmap: Build and scale new contribution formats natively within shared post and comment experiences.
• Mentorship & Org Leadership: Serve as technical anchor for Contribution engineering team and influence broader Content Ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with proven track record as Senior Staff or Principal Engineer on consumer-facing mobile/web applications.
• Deep mastery of modern web architecture (React, TypeScript) and native mobile paradigms (iOS/Swift, Android/Kotlin).
• Demonstrated track record of solving hard client-side performance and rendering bottlenecks at scale.
