Job Description
The Employee Engagement & Human Resources Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the development and well-being of Fairplay’s most valuable resource—our people. This position is responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and benefits administration, to ensure the effective and equitable functioning of the nonprofit organization.
The manager will develop, execute and manage strategies for recruiting, hiring, and onboarding staff and volunteers. They will promote a positive organizational culture through conflict resolution, employee satisfaction initiatives, and DEI work. The role involves leading the performance review process, identifying training opportunities, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. The manager will also administer employee benefits, manage payroll, and collaborate with senior leadership on HR strategies.
