Context and Scope:

• Sierra Club is the nation's largest grassroots environmental network with 700 staff and 64 chapters.
• The Organizing Culture and Capacity Director will scale grassroots organizing strategy and methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and refine the organizing model; develop curriculum and training frameworks.
• Lead programmatic planning and execution to embed organizing best practices.
• Drive adoption of organizing technology and foster cross-departmental partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in grassroots campaign organizing and people management.
• Strong facilitation and training development skills.
• Systems thinking and deep commitment to equity and continuous evolution.
