Job Description
As an Engagement Manager supporting the New York City Department of Education, you’ll play a critical role in driving customer engagement, adoption, and retention across all NYC DOE schools. In partnership with a Customer Success Manager (CSM), you’ll act as the strategic and operational lead for engagement within this district, designing and executing programs that strengthen teacher activation, deepen school-level usage, and ultimately improve renewal outcomes. You’ll collaborate directly with school and district leaders, visiting sites regularly to build relationships, understand needs, and implement scalable strategies that deliver measurable impact. This role blends customer strategy, project management, and field execution.
You’ll have the opportunity to exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance, including evaluating customer needs, structuring tailored solutions, negotiating within established guidelines, and influencing revenue and business outcomes.
