Blue Star Connect Outdoors Leader Consultant

Project Scope:

• Plan and deliver independently organized outdoor recreation meetups for families, coordinating as needed with local national park sites.
• Track and submit opportunities using provided planning documents and log attendance with chosen methods.
• Disseminate promotional materials to community bulletin boards and networks at the Contractor’s discretion.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven success in outdoor recreation and event coordination, including logistics and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with military families, local community members, and key stakeholders.

Engagement Terms:

• This is an independent contractor role with approximately 30 hours per month through December 2026.
• The contractor retains full autonomy over the method, schedule, and tools used to perform services and is not an employee.
