Sourcer, Talent Acquisition (1-year contract)

You're the detective, connector, and pipeline builder all rolled into one. Working closely with Wealthsimple R&D squads—data, engineering, product, design—you’ll hunt down fintech talent who will help them reinvent financial services in Canada. You’ll keep WS plugged in to the right people, whether they’re hiring now or just warming up for the future. Your superpower is turning research, market savvy, and data-driven insights into a nonstop stream of great candidates and hiring wins. You'll partner closely with recruiters on active searches and build smart, research-driven strategies that find top candidates. You'll build and maintain evergreen talent pools for engineering and design, forecast future talent needs, create scalable, repeatable sourcing processes, and use AI and modern sourcing tools to work smarter. You'll also research hiring trends in fintech’s hottest spaces, develop a deep understanding of the North American tech talent landscape, and help build authentic communities where passive talent naturally wants to engage.
