Strategic Vision and Leadership:
- Own the engineering strategy and technical vision for Turnkey's Platform Engineering organization.
- Build, manage, and grow a high-performing engineering org with managers and senior ICs.
- Partner with Product Engineering and company leadership to align platform investments with business needs.
Organizational & People Leadership:
- Define and evolve the org structure, leveling, and career paths as the team scales.
- Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention of top infrastructure and security-minded talent.
- Set and uphold engineering rituals like on-call, incident review, and capacity planning.
Architectural Oversight & Technical Direction:
- Provide strategic technical guidance across foundational systems for scalability, security, and reliability.
- Oversee design and implementation of cloud and network infrastructure, security architecture, and operational tooling.
- Define and drive processes like security reviews, capacity planning, testing, and incident response.
