About the Role:
- Samsara is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Core Infrastructure team.
- This team builds and operates the foundational compute, networking, storage, and cloud systems behind Samsara's products.
- Core Infrastructure is central to the availability, scalability, security, and efficiency of the platform.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, coach, and develop a globally distributed Core Infrastructure team.
- Own technical strategy and translate it into an integrated roadmap across infrastructure domains.
- Improve operational health through capacity management, observability, and sustainable on-call practices.
Who You Are:
- You have 8+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years managing engineers.
- You have a strong technical background in production infrastructure, cloud platforms, or distributed systems.
- You are a life-long learner with a growth mindset and a team player.
