Business Analyst, OCIO

The Business Analyst is responsible for maintaining a strong understanding of business needs and practices related to NYU IT's demand and portfolio management systems. The role requires close collaboration with various IT departments within NYU on self-managed projects, focusing on the implementation, specification, development, testing, and rollout of new systems or system enhancements. Responsibilities include facilitating meetings with IT process owners to gather, validate, and document requirements, analyze processes, and recommend improvements to both processes and systems. The analyst will also develop reports for management, identify dependencies and implications of changes across affected functional areas, and provide comprehensive training and support to users on demand management processes and the project portfolio management tool.
