Non-Linguistic Quality Control Specialists (US)

About the Role:

• We are looking for freelance professionals to support Non-Linguistic QC activities for translation projects in the Life Sciences domain.
• Non-Linguistic QC is the final quality assurance step before delivery, checking for inconsistencies, numeric mismatches, formatting issues, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Non-Linguistic Quality Control of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical content.
• Use CAT tools and run QC checks to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Validate formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and adherence to instructions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months QC/QA experience in the localization industry, or project management experience involving pre-delivery checks.
• Familiarity with CAT tools (XTM/Phrase) and QA check tools (Xbench, Verifika).
• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or above) and availability of 4–5 hours per day.
