Director, Cloud Operations

Our Director of Cloud Operations will play a key role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our cloud infrastructure, supporting the reliability, scalability, and security of our SaaS platform. This remote position is ideal for a proactive, technically skilled leader who excels at aligning cloud strategy with business goals. The role involves leading a high-performing team, implementing DevOps and SRE best practices, and ensuring continuous improvement in performance, security, and cost optimization. Define and execute the long-term vision and roadmap for cloud operations in alignment with business objectives. Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. Lead the adoption and implementation of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform. Drive automation across provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and incident response workflows. Ensure high availability and disaster recovery across all environments. Establish and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs for system performance and uptime. Lead incident management processes, including root cause analysis and continuous improvement. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards. Manage vendor relationships and cloud spend, focusing on cost optimization.
