Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Lead all accounting operations for US entities in accordance with US GAAP and company policies.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Review and analyze financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
Core Accounting Functions:
- Manage accounts payable, vendor management, customer billing, and accounts receivable.
- Oversee revenue recognition, project accounting, and general ledger maintenance.
- Handle bank and credit card reconciliations and fixed assets accounting.
Tax & Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local tax requirements.
- Coordinate preparation and review of corporate tax filings including 1120 and state returns.
- Prepare 1099s and 1042 as needed with the inhouse tax accountant.
Leadership & Strategic Finance:
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
