Software Engineer I - AssureHire (Go)

Job Overview:

• Own the resolution of technical escalation tickets from customers and internal teams.
• Investigate, reproduce, and diagnose issues, then see fixes through review and deployment.
• Use AI-assisted tooling to triage and draft code solutions, applying your own judgment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders to gather context, set expectations, and report status.
• Identify tickets that can be resolved as self-service engineering work and ship code.
• Follow secure development practices: least-privilege, secrets management, careful data handling.

Requirements & Skills:

• 0–2 years of professional software development experience (internships count).
• Working proficiency in Go; familiarity with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
• Strong debugging instincts and clear written and verbal communication.
