Job Description
This technician role involves performing a variety of tasks to assist in the exchange of existing wireless access points with new ones, particularly in hospital and healthcare settings. Responsibilities include inventorying, documenting, removing, replacing, mounting, and confirming the connectivity of wireless access points. The role requires reading floor plans, documenting location changes, and completing daily progress reports promptly. Work must adhere to OSHA and Veteranβs Administration regulations, as well as infection control guidance from each location.
The technician is responsible for ensuring all tools and equipment are secure and for promptly escalating any irregularities. The position requires 100% nationwide travel, so candidates must reside within commuting distance of a regional or international airport and be willing to travel by plane to both CONUS and OCONUS locations. The work environment includes exposure to medium to loud noise levels, and the schedule varies based on contract needs, potentially including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends. Schedule flexibility is essential.
